for an esoteric and glamorous suspense experience.

Jazz is often nourished by instrumental pieces or songs from other musical regions. Jacques Loussier is famous for his interpretations of Bach’s music, Thierry Eliez with “3 around the 4” pays a beautiful tribute to the Beatles, singer Paul Anka makes pop swing on “Rock Swings”, not to mention Miles Davis with “Time After Time” by Cyndi Lauper. Many jazz musicians around the world do the same.

Rose Franck makes the opposite journey by propelling great jazz standards to another place.

With pop accents, harmonies imbued with 20th century classical music or more ethnic rhythms, Franck Monbaylet creates a sound setting around Rosa’s voice, sensual, strong and rich in her Latin American culture, giving these magnificent songs timeless, a new aesthetic.

Rose Franck was born in 2022 and performs in duo and Quartet. A first duo album was released in 2022 and the next quartet album will be released in 2024
